We're confident that you will find our products well suited to a wide range of your handicapping
and tournament management requirements, and that they are very easy to use.  We're also
confident that you will find doing business with us a pleasant and supportive experience.  The
following material summarizes our minimal system requirements, reasonable prices, and
economical support policy.
Computer System Requirements

Our products are developed for use on IBM-compatible personal
computers.  The minimum requirements are available on most
any modern computer -- 512 MB of Memory, a 40 MB Fixed Disk
(Hard Drive), a CD Drive and a Color Monitor.  Any type of printer
can be used.  We recommend Hewlett Packard laser or inkjet
printers.
Space requirements on your Hard Drive are minimal.  For example, for the combination of the
GTM tournament and GHM handicap programs, plus their databases, less than 20 MB of Hard
Drive space is required, even with a handicap database of 750 players.

All of our products except the Windows version of the GHM Handicap program can be used
under any version of Windows from Windows 95 through Windows Vista.  GHM Windows
requires Windows 2000, XP or Vista.  (The older DOS version of GHM can be run on any
Windows system although we do not recommend Windows Vista because of display screen
limitations.

Our products are distributed on CD with a guided and automated installation program.  All
programs have a comprehensive built-in Help System that is easily accessed during program
operation and is your primary source for information about program features and operation.  A
professionally prepared User Guide is also provided for installation instructions and an overview
of program features and operation..
Prices

The following listing defines our current prices for software licenses, hardware options and
forms.  Our major handicapping (GHM) and tournament (GTM) programs are offered at both
standalone prices and a combination price for purchase of both programs.

Note that our software license prices are one-time-only!  Unlike some of our competitors, we
do not offer our products on a recurring annual license fee basis that keeps you paying for then
year after year.  Refer to the User Support and Upgrade Plan material below for a description of
how we support and upgrade our products.

When SportsWare started in business in 1984 we decided to differentiate
ourselves from our competitors by offering free telephone support.  Of
course, at that time it was easy to do because we had not yet established
a customer base.  However, even as our customer base grew we
continued the practice for 20 years and relied on sales to new customers
to cover our development and support costs.  However, as we entered
2004 we simply could no longer afford this no-charge support policy.
One reason is the cost of our Windows-based development work.  The other and more important
reason is that the enforced prevalence of the USGA GHIN System has significantly influenced
our ability to attract new customers.  Therefore, in order to remain in business and support our
loyal customers, we established an Annual Support Fee for our major products in 2004.

The Annual Support Fee applies to our major handicapping and tournament programs -- GHM,
GTM and the 9-Hole Match-Around Program.  The annual fee is $100 per program with a $200
maximum per customer.  The fee is very modest compared with the annual support fees
charged by our competitors and the significant per-player costs of the GHIN System.  The annual
fee does not apply to the Pari-Mutuel Manager, Callaway Scorekeeper and Nassau Round Robin
programs; ongoing support for these products is included in the purchase price.  

The Annual Support Fee includes telephone and email support, and ongoing product version
upgrades.  In the case of major product upgrades an Upgrade Charge may also apply.   
Examples of situations where an Upgrade Charge has been applied are when significant
environmental changes are made or  significant new features are added.  Upgrade Charges
always include one year of no-charge support.

We plan to make regular product enhancement releases as required, e.g., when changes are
made to the USGA Handicap System.  We encourage enhancement suggestions from our
customers and most always include them in future product releases.

Note: The cost of the GHM Program with an On-Screen Keyboard is $900.
