Prize List Create / Update

An optional-use feature of the GTM Program is the capability to create Prize Lists for the various Scoring Categories.  These Prize Lists can then be matched to your Scoring results automatically by the program to provide presentation-ready reports that list the prize winners and the prizes they will receive.  Click on the link at the bottom of this topic for a description of the Prize List Matching feature.

Creating Prize Lists is a straightforward task.  All you need to do is select a Scoring Category in the Select Prize List area at the top of the screen and fill in the PRIZE and (optionally) DONOR fields.  If a Prize List consists of more than 15 entries Previous and Next buttons are displayed for navigating through the list.  Only the Scoring Categories you have defined for the selected tournament in Tournament Information will have activated option buttons; therefore, you should provide your Tournament Information before you create Prize Lists.  As noted, the use of Donors is optional.



You can work on more than one Prize List each time you access the Prize List Create/Update screen, but you must complete your work on one prize list before working on another.  That is, you should click the Save This Screen button for all screens in a given Prize List (and, if you wish, click the Print Prize List button) before you click one of the Scoring Category buttons to work on another Prize List.  When you have completed your work on all desired lists, click the Exit button to exit the feature and return to the Program Menu screen.

Updating Prize Lists is also straightforward.  If a Prize List exists for a selected Scoring Category, its contents are displayed when you click the category's option button.  You can then proceed to change information as desired.  If you are re-using a Tournament Number for a new tournament and wish to create new lists, click the Clear List button to blank the information fields and proceed as in the create task.

Note: If you intend to use your Prize Lists to print Gift Certificates the PRIZE entries must be dollar/cents amounts in the format DDD.CC, including the decimal point and without including a $ sign.  Example: 100.00.  Any dollar amount can be used.  DONOR entries are not used on Gift Certificates.
