Bag Tag Labels Printing
If you provide bag tags to your tournament players you can add something "extra" to your tournament preparation with GTM's Bag Tag Labels. These are 3/8-inch by 2.875-inch labels that fit neatly in the "slot" in several types of bag tags.
When you select Bag Tag Labels Printing from the Preparation you are presented with an easy-to-complete screen on which to choose from the following options:
Labels Content: Player Names or Player Names + Start Time/Tee
Player Groups to Include: All or Selective Player Groups (see Note below)
Labels Sequence: By Player Group or Alphabetic
Simply click the appropriate option button for your choices. If you wish to include Start Time and Tee information on the labels, these assignments must be made before you use the Bag Tag Labels feature. If you choose Selective Player Groups the Selective Group Numbers area at the bottom of the screen is activated for your entry of the Group Numbers you desire. When you complete your choices click the Print Labels button to print the desired labels.
Label printing is formatted for use of 2-across labels sheets on laser or inkjet printers. As noted on the entry screen, the labels are commonly called 8mm Data Tape Labels. SportsWare does not provide these labels. However, they are available from several label manufacturers and can be ordered on the Internet. One manufacturer is Interstate Label Company; their website address is www.interstatelabel.com
Note: Because each of the bag tag label sheets contains a large number of labels (56), it is most efficient to print labels for all of your player groups rather than printing selected groups. Each time you print labels you must start at the top of a full sheet of labels. Therefore, if you print a small number of labels (e.g. for just a few player groups), many labels will be wasted.
