Scores Entry -- 9-Hole Scoring

The basic process for 9-Hole Scoring is the same as that for 18-Hole Scoring.  Click the link at the bottom of this topic for a description.  But before you do the following are some additional considerations unique to 9-Hole Scoring.

9-Hole Scoring Options
When you start 9-Hole Scoring an options screen is presented on which you provide choices for the following by selecting one of the option buttons in each of the following areas:

-- Nine Played: If all of your players are playing the same nine holes of the course,
select the Front 9 or Back 9 option.  If there is play on both Nines, select the option
to select the Nine Played as each player group is scored.

-- Handicaps Base: Select either 9 Holes or 18 Holes as the handicap type used in
your Player List.  The program automatically computes 9-hole handicaps for scoring
when your Player List contains 18-hole handicaps.

-- Handicap Holes Structure: Select the option button that corresponds to the Nine
that has the odd-numbered handicap holes.

When you click the Save button the 9-Hole scoring screen is activated for scores entry.  Only the 9 holes being played by the player group will be displayed, either the Nine selected above when all players are playing the same Nine or the Nine you select for each player group via the Front 9 and Back 9 option buttons on the scores entry screen.

If you need to make changes to a player group click the Change Group Info button.  The methods for making group changes and the entry of scores is the same as that for 18-Hole Scores Entry.  Click the corresponding link below for descriptions of these methods.
