Player List Re-Pairing

For Multi-Day tournaments you have the option to re-pair your Player List after each day/round of the tournament.  This option includes a number of flexible choices for how the re-pairing is done, all of which you select from the Player List Re-Pairing screen.  



The following describes each area of this screen and how you work with it.

Re-Pairing Basis
You can choose from among 9 Scoring Categories as the basis for re-pairing.  Only the Scoring Categories used in the tournament are made active for your selection.  When you choose one of the Individual scoring categories you must also specify a New Group Size, which can be the same or different than the group size used for the current day/round.

Cut
To apply a Cut to the field simply mark the Apply Cut to Player Field checkbox, enter the Base Cut Number you wish to use, and select one of the two options for how you wish to apply the Cut -- Base Cut Only Plus Ties or Base Plus Within "X" of Lead  If you select the option for Base Plus Within "X" of Lead you must also complete the Strokes/Points From Lead entry.

Flights Formation
If you wish to include Flights considerations in your re-pairing mark the Re-Pair Into/Within Flights checkbox.  If Flights have been used in the tournament both the New Flights and Within Existing Flights option buttons are activated for your choice.  If Flights have not been used only the New Flights button is activated and it is selected.  For New Flights you must specify the Number of Flights to be formed.  Depending on your New/Within choice, either the New Flights - Players/Teams Per Flight or the Within Flights Group Formation area is activated.  The options within these areas allow you to specify how flight formation is to be done and are self-explanatory.  If you choose Specified Number Per Flight for New Flights a New Flights Specs overlay screen is presented on which you simply enter the number of players/teams you wish to include in each flight by Flight Number.

When you complete your specifications and click the Process button the new Player List is formed  and you are presented with an option to printed the Player List Report.  You may wish to defer printing until after you've assigned Start Times and Tee Numbers to the new Player List.
