Main Menu

When you start the GHM Program you are presented with the menu illustrated below.  It provides access to the three major sections of the program:

-- Handicap Maintenance: The "backroom" section for staff use in adding players, changing
player information and status, adding or changing scores, preparing reports, doing handicap
    revisions, printing handicap cards, etc.

-- Player Scores Entry: The feature for direct use by the players themselves in entering scores
and/or viewing handicap information.  Also included is an optional capability for printing
handicap card labels on the SportsWare Handicap Card Printer.

-- System Functions: Access to occasional-use functions such as defining the System
Parameters that govern program use, performing a Period Initialization that resets certain
information at the start of a new season, and performing two different types of Course
Analysis that show you how your course is playing and are useful for analyzing the
    course's Handicap Hole Ratings.

When you select either Handicap Maintenance or System Functions from the menu you must enter a System Authorization Code if one has been established in your System Parameters.  Selection of Player Scores Entry results in presentation of that feature's Bulletin Board screen which has a separate Shutdown Code.  The eventual return from any of the menu selections is to this screen, from which you can select another program section or exit the program.

Note: When you use the program for the first time as a new customer your first action must be selection of System Functions and provision of System Parameters.
