Ringer Scores

You may well ask "What's a Ringer Score?"  Well, it's simply the sum of a player's best score on each hole of the course over a period of time, usually the golf season.  While not widely used across the country, Ringer Score contests are a popular part of the competitions at some clubs and courses, especially among the ladies.  The GHM Program gives you the option to enter Ringer Scores in two ways: by the staff via the Ringer Score button on the Player Maintenance Screen, and directly by your players via a choice from the Bulletin Board Screen of the Player Scores Entry feature.  In both cases the following screen is used to enter and update a player's Ringer Score information.

A report with Ringer results for all players is available from the Reports submenu of the Handicap Maintenance Menu.  Note that Ringer Score information is maintained in a separate database that is independent of the main GHM database used for standard handicapping.
