History Database Reset
As described in the System Parameters Help Topic, the History Database is separate from the main database and contains all posted scores for all players. It is primarily useful for performing Course Analysis, but it is meaningful only if scores are entered on a hole-by-hole basis. It can become quite large and subject to corruption as it grows; therefore, if you are not posting scores hole by hole we recommend that you do not specify that a History Database be used.
If you do use a History Database, you should reset it occasionally, both to control its size and as a basis for new analyses. As a minimum, doing a reset at the start of each golf season is strongly recommended. Also, a reset after you perform a Course Analysis or Group A/Group B Analysis will form a new base for future analyses. The History Reset proceeds automatically when you choose it from the System Functions Menu; a message window informs you of its completion.
